Teachers that live in your neighborhood

Do you have any teachers that live in your neighborhood? I have 2 that I had and it's weird, especially since I'm a cross country runner and during the summer I run without a shirt since it's very hot, and I wonder if they ever see me >_>

One of my 2 teachers take walks often, but I've never seen the other teacher. Feel free to discuss any stories you have.

My chem teacher lives 5 min away from me. I discovered this when I was on a track run and saw her walking home. o.o It was weird because she didn’t like me because I wasn’t the brightest in her class haha. I avoid her house on Halloweens lol.

I saw my chem teacher yesterday, but I don’t think she saw me. I saw my old English teacher about two days ago and she waved. It was kind of awkward. And neither of them live in my neighborhood–apparently I was in theirs.

But I live pretty close to school, so it’s likely for me to see teachers whether they live around me or not.

The worst is when my mom drove me to school and we would see my crazy French teacher walking to school and my mom would offer her a ride. That was awkward.

my parents met my english teacher at a bar, but my english teacher is pretty cool

also they met my spanish teacher the same way, teachers really like bars

^lucky…thats funny!

my 8th grade American hstry teacher, i grew up with her two doors down, she moved when i was in 4th grade although my parents and her remained friends
kind of awkward!
my friends mom teaches ap english and he had her this year.

^^^^^ Hotness.

yeah, my next door neighbor is this crazy right-wing AP Gov teacher who frequently jacuzzis with a plethora of different women every night. he’s middle-aged, and obese. needless to say, i rarely go to my backyard past 6 PM.

apparently so do parents :P

My kindergarten/1st grade teacher and 5th grade teacher do. I always see my k/1st teacher at Ralph’s, which is really close to my house, whenever my mom takes me to buy groceries occasionally

My IB art history teacher lives near me and I’ve gone to school with her son since 6th grade. We carpooled in middle school >.<

She and other teachers also go into the grocery story my mom works at all the time and gossip, I get to hear about all the teacher drama from my mom. Awk?

^^^Yeah, I think just about everyone likes bars.

Apparently teachers walk in like little gangs and order up margaritas and tequila and whatever other hard liquors they can. Also, my spanish teacher is really good at pool?

Lol it’s weird seeing teachers outside of school. I just came back from a run and ran into my Spanish teacher and we just said hi and stuff.

boarding school=i live within a half a mile from 75% of the faculty, and in the same building as up to five. the rest live off campus in nearby towns [and occasionally cambridge or boston]

it’s actually pretty cool. they live with us, so they’re pretty casual/chill. we know their kids and see them walk their dogs, and even hang out with them on occasion [if they’re in our dorm or something].

I stayed an extra day after school ended, along with 4 other girls [3 on my floor and one on the fourth]. A sophomore and the head of house [who is her advisor] went to the grocery store and got a bunch of Ben&jerry’s. That night, we all sat around and watched the OC while we ate our ben&jerry’s [she’s an english teacher and her husband was my bio teacher. their kids are adorable].

whenever someone in the dorm has a birthday, our head of house would either make or buy a cake and at late check-in we’d do the whole cake/singing thing.

fun stuff. plus my mom’s a teacher/has teacher friends, so i know a lot of teachers. nice people.

worst teacher of my life-my science teacher.:(
