Howdy! I am a freshman this year and I am super worried about failing a class, even though I am doing fine so far. I just want to know, what happens if you fail a class the first semester? I’m trying my hardest but I just have that feeling that somewhere I will go wrong.

It depends on your major & overall GPA as to other consequences. Hopefully you’re doing better 
Just an update: They did away with the First Year Grade Exclusion as of Fall 2013. It was announced at my son’s NSC that year.
