<p>i was wondering if anyone was planning on having energy drinks/coffee/something along those lines before the ACT tomorrow.
have you tried it before? how has it worked out for you?
BTW-i totally plan on getting a good night's sleep, but if an energy drink or somethig will help me focus more then i'm totally going for it.</p>
<p>Do it only if you take energy drinks/coffee REGULARLY. I never drink energy drinks or coffee (but I drink tea) so if I did that, I probably would have a negative performance because I wasn’t used to it. </p>
<p>Keep your diet regular. Don’t get too much sleep, but don’t pull an all nighter either.</p>
<p>While I don’t encourage using caffeine if you do not normally ingest it, I can testify that without my grande starbucks coffee on my way to the testing center, I likely would have scored lower. If you usually use coffee to wake up, use it. If not, don’t.</p>
<p>I’ve got a Monster Khaos just in case I need it for the break. I drink energy drinks on a semi-regular basis, either to keep me up for a late night, or for times I need to hyperfocus. The way I metabolize, the energy should keep me going until a little after the test. After that, I don’t care if I crash.</p>
