<p>unless you're number 1, then you pretty much have no chance. even if you are #1, you still have a very slim chance. people usually dont drop classes like EC3 because 1) they need it and 2) its hard as hell to get into because everyone needs it.</p>
<p>try emailing the professor..you might get lucky :D</p>
<p>im not familiar with english classes, but there are some professors that let everyone off the waitlist. but this is usually the case with large science classes (chem). id do what ekn said.</p>
<p>If it's a popular teacher, then not much chance. I had a good one, and only the #1 got in.</p>
