<p>i signed up for an english comp 3 class but i want to switch to another one. When i tried to switch on URSA, it wouldnt let me because it said it was for freshmen only. But i am a freshmen ints just that all my APs give me sophomore standing....how do i get past this??</p>
<p>i had the exact same problem as you. when i was at orientation that message came up and they had to override the system. then when i got home, i wanted to change english classes and it wouldn't let me for the same reason. what i did was i called the writing programs office at 310-206-1145. just tell them your situation and then hopefully they will be able to help you.

<p>that happened to me last year. i called roxanne neal (head of orientation) and told her to put me in, and she did it. no, i didnt know her.</p>
<p>k, according to my roomie, if you have more than a certain number of units (60, i think), you cannot enroll in engcomp 3 lecture 16 and after. because ur technically a sophomore and the class is for freshmen.</p>
