engineering 100 - any easy section???

i just took engineering 101 first semester and hated it. i hated programming as a whole and would like to avoid it next semester and my next four years. I plan on being an ioe major. is there any engr 101 class that will not relate to programming and be relatively easy?

you do realize you’re required to take more programming courses… this is engineering…

there’s more programming? I thought if you weren’t in EECS you basically had MatLab later.

Oh and I don’t mind programming, I just thought there wasn’t any more

I’m pretty sure it’s all MATLAB but I had an Aerospace engineer interview me and tell me that he uses Fortran and C all the time at his job.

Ya, my Eng 151 Prof said something today about Fortran. Basically if you aren’t going into computer stuff you’ll only need MatLab and then maybe some basic stuff like C and Fortran… for the most part

IOEs should do programming too in some of the classes. Maybe it’s still avoidable though, but I know atleast some of their classes have programming.

back to the original question…is there an easy option for engr 100?

Gaming for the Greater Good, except that’s more programming
