<p>The engineering supplement essay on the Common App doesn't seem to have any length indication. What should be the approximate word count or length of the supplemental essay?</p>

<p>It’s 650 words. If there is no indication of length on a supplemental essay then you can keep copying and pasting words until you hit the maximum and then the common app should say something along the lines of “remove words until you reach the ___ word maximum.”</p>
