Engineering Major switch?

I was accepted as an EE major to HSSEAS and I was wondering if it would be possible to switch to CS. Has anyone ever done this, and how hard is it?

I have a friend who was able to switch from EE to CS. I haven’t done it myself but from what I understand it is very doable, especially considering the first year for EE and CS is pretty much the same anyway, besides the CS seminar class first quarter of freshman year.

You have to do reasonably well in CS 31 and 32 because everyone and their mother tries to do the sneaky thing by applying to another Engineering major and then immediately trying to change to CS. CS is super impacted and therefore it could be difficult to switch in.
