<p>My son received an invitation to attend an engineering preview in a couple of weeks.
How important is this visit? I will have to take a days vacation and drive 3 hours one way for this visit. He visited with the engineering department last spring and took a campus tour.
Do you think it is necessary that he attends? He is definately going to Ohio State in the fall for Engineering.</p>
<p>I'd love to know more about this also, did the request come via mail or email?</p>
<p>My son is definitely going also, we're from CT. We did a tour of the engineering school last April. </p>
<p>I guess we were thinking the next trip would be for orientation, but if there's more information to be gotten in person, I'd re-think that decision.</p>
