Engineering to Business School transfer for Freshman year.

Yesterday I was accepted into the Engineering school at UIUC as part of the class of 2019 as Engineering- Undecided. Since October (when I completed the application) I have begun to heavily lean towards studying finance. Is there a way to be considered for admission to the business school for this coming school year? Thanks for the help.

I can’t help you since I’m looking for the same answer, but just a comment- I’m considering switching from Business school to engineering haha :stuck_out_tongue: we’re opposites!

I just found what appears to be what I’m looking for. At the bottom of your application checklist. Click on “Program?Term change form.” That page tells you what to do from there. Confirmation that this is the correct route?

I think so yes.

“In changing your major, you are withdrawing your original application and forfeiting your admission. If you are denied from the new major, you are not guaranteed admission back into your original major. If you have been awarded scholarships or been invited to join an honors program, those awards may be affected as well. Please contact the Admissions Office before submitting this form.”

Are you really going to risk losing your current offer and go ahead and apply for transfer? I’m hesitating now
