So my son will be applying later this week. He is most interested in Chemical Engineering, but is concerned that if he would want to switch engineering concentrations, that it wouldn't work. Does anyone know how tough it is to change from Chemical Engineering in the college of liberal arts and sciences over to say, electrical engineering in the college of engineering? Would he be better to apply to the engineering school first? This is a little strange! Thanks!

Chemical Engineering is only listed under the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for historical purposes, but is taught and administered by College of Engineering. Transferring to another Engineering program would be considered an intracollege transfer, and is much easer to accomplish.
