Engineering Transfer

Hi, I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh and switched to engineering in my junior year. I am on track to finish engineering in 5 years. However, I am trying to transfer to a better engineering program such as Michigan. I wanted to know how I can show the fact that my engineering gpa is 3.92 but overall is a 3.6 (since I got some Bs in bio classes I took for pre med). Also, would the engineering gpa help to get into good engineering programs or would they just look at my overall gpa? How would each gpa be looked at?

Any comments and advice will be much appreciated.

You might want to ask on the Engineering Major forum.

I think they would consider your course load, but the overall GPA is probably more important than you engineering GPA. They see the individual grades you got in each course.
