Hi,
Anyone who’s had experience transferring is it hard to get engineering credits to carry over? Generally speaking. Also is a 3.5 a good enough GPA to get into decent programs like UF?
Thanks!

Are you a Florida in-state student? If so, you shouldn’t have any issues transferring credits from a CC (or another Florida public university) to UF.
Using UF as an example, you’ll find it’s easier to transfer into some engineering majors (those with capacity) vs. others. The fewer the number of open seats, the higher the GPA requirements. In general, it may be easier to get into Computer Sciences, Digital Arts and Sciences, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials and Nuclear. It would be harder getting into Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, etc. You can still get into these majors, you’ll just need a higher GPA than say Nuclear.
Each University would be different, so you should do some research on those that interest you.
