What can anyone tell me about the quality of K State's Engineering program?

K-State’s Engineering program is generally regarded as a pretty good program. Some regard K-State’s program as better than KU’s engineering program, although KU’s architecture/architectural engineering programs are pretty serious business, and as far as I’ve heard, much more difficult to be accepted to compared to similar programs at K-State. You’re going to have to be a lot more specific in your question though, if you’re actually wanting a helpful answer from other people posting.

I was looking at the colleges in Kansas, and I had heard from a couple of my (reliable) teachers that K-State would be one of my best options. So, I’ll be more specfic:
- How is K-State’s Chemical Engineering program?
- How is it compared to other Kansas schools?
- Would a different school “look” better on job applications?
