Univeristy of Kansas vs Kansas State University

I know many of you have not heard of Kansas, but for those who have KU or K-State?

Which one is better for engineering? Pre-med? Psychology? Over all?

UKansas overall.

What about engineering?

K State is better in engineering, based on what I've seen. So is MU and MU-Rolla. IMO. KU is better in the liberal arts.

K-State has more farm-types, has lower entrance stats overall. KU has more preppies from Overland Park.

K State was better in football but maybe that gap is closing?
Basketball is not close.

I mean let's get to what really matters in the big 12...

For what it's worth:

Sources for undergrad department rankings are Rugg's Recommendations on the Colleges and The Gourman Report; you might track these down at the library or something. Not everyone thinks they are very valid though.

bump bump bump

KU is bigger, better and greater overall. Academics-wise K-State isn’t far, but collegelife-wise KU is among the best college experience you can have across America. K-State, is not comparable.
