English 103 and Engr/CS questions

<p>Just wondering if any current students had a recommendation for English 103. Looks like there’s several different ones, The Story of Stuff, The Rhetoric of Advertising, The Self in the Digital Age. Any insight on these or the other ones offered would be great!</p>

<p>Also, any professor recommendations for the beginning computer science courses? Actually doesn’t look like there’s too many choices, but would like to hear any first hand accounts. </p>

<p>Finally, what’s the difference between ENGR 131 honors vs. non-honors? Class size looks smaller, but just wondering how the class differs. Thanks!!</p>

<p>My D took EN 103 this Spring, her class was called Being Human. She enjoyed the class and made an A. Her teacher required a 99 for an A+ and I think she had a 98.
She took the Honors ENGR 131 last semester and made an A+. She had friends in the regular class and there did not seem to be much of a difference. I think she had to do one extra group project.</p>
