english major and GE writing II/seminars

<p>Couple questions about the english major...(going to be a soph next year, am taking eng 10A now) </p>

<p>1) does english 10A count as a foreign lit in translation course? (i have 4 quarters of spanish and wondering if that will count as my 5th quarter since english majors need 5).</p>

<p>2) i took eng 4w which satisfies writing II, but on the GE list it says i need a seminar as well, OR a second GE approved writing II. but 4w is not on the GE list...can i take a writing II that is on the GE list and count it as my seminar, even though my first writing II is not a GE? </p>
