I'm trying to figure out what I want to do after college, and I cannot seem to find anything that I can see myself doing...however, my two passions are music and literature....therefore, I was thinking I would possibly double major in English and music....however, although I know what I would want to do with the music, I do not know what type of career I would pursue with an English degree....possibly journalism....but I am not quite sure about what other careers are out there that have to do with literature (and I'm not big on the idea of teaching).....Would it be worthwhile to double major if I am not sure which way I will go after college? Also, is it possible to double major with a minor? If so, I was thinking about possibly double majoring in English and music with a minor in communications? But will schools let me do that, and if so, will I be pretty much killing myself?

What type of music....performance? history? music theory? compostition?
Most music majors are tougher and more intense than most students imagine.

Forgot to add---there is a lot of discussion on the Music Major board re
double majoring with music (mostly performance)
