Buttery, AP English will be the hardest, very, very, very few people get A-s, most get Bs or under.

Getting the grade varies from school to school. I go to a lame school, and our AP English teacher just tries to be a stand-up comedian and the class is a joke [no pun intended].

However, AP exams are a different matter.

Masterus, why would you go out of your way to post something negative?

It's true and by the way, because I'm about to be put ahead in English so I would know. I'm probably the best writer in 9th/10th grade. Let's just say I took an old AP exam to see if I could do AP and I did extremely well.

Masterus is just a selfish and close-minded type of person. He thinks he's the best at everything, and he is not. There will always be people better than him. You say you're the best writer in 9/10th grade at your school? So what. It is one school out of thousands. There are plenty of people who are better at writing than you, and there is nothing you could do about it.

But please, share some of your writing with us, since you're so sure of yourself.

I really admire ChaosTheory's fortitude. Bravo, ChaosTheory --- your modesty may blow down many more brick walls than Masterus' continuous huffing and puffing.

I'll be real shocked if a freshmen English class is the hardest class you take...real shocked..but English is also by kryptonite (sp?). I've had 5 APs just this year and the only class I have a B in is AP English...I have a 91 which is a B+, so maybe if I do really well I can pull it to the 93 I need...but yeah I also hate English class...we had poems and stories to analyze, essay that needed to incorporate at least 3 books we read, and multiple choice on random facts from books we read on the first day of class....like "How old is so and so" or "How many people were on the ship" etc etc....real stupid stuff....don't even worry about English class though...it's a real joke as far as most of it goes. If you can write, the rest of the course is all filler that you won't see much of in college.

"It's true and by the way, because I'm about to be put ahead in English so I would know. I'm probably the best writer in 9th/10th grade. Let's just say I took an old AP exam to see if I could do AP and I did extremely well."

How did that arrogant post contribute ANYthing to the thread? Being "the best writer in 9th/10th grade" is completely irrelevant to Chaos' questions. And, I doubt your superiority in English, because that first sentence is such a grammatical mess that I hardly know where to start.

Yes. Pomposity irks me a whole lot.

...geez people.

Chill.

I'm curious now though, Masterus -- would you mind sending me something you've written?

Sorry. I'm usually easy-going. Something about the tone of the post really annoyed me, though.

I have a bit of a temper....

Aw, gee, now I feel bad =(

Can I please see something you have written as well Masterus? I could use a good sample piece to help me model some of my writing off of. You know? I think that someone who is so great at writing would provide an excellent example. And I can also help you with it if you need some assistance. I know that you might use the pronoun "I" too much because you are very egotistical and self-centered. That is usually not the best thing to use in formal writing though. But please let me see!

A hardy har-har, just for loglord.
