Ah. Might I suggest that you retake the SAT and aim for 2250+? Some of your extra curriculars are quite interesting, such as your time in the Iraqi Embassy, but nothing really shows me a single passion, save track and field, of course. Package yourself nicely in your essay, interviews, and whatnot, and you’ll have a better chance.

hey, I am also from Maryland!
for a lot of these schools, you’d have greater chances if you improve your SAT score, probably above 2200. But otherwise your EC’s sports are good and interesting.
Basically all Ivies are reaches for anyone

Johns Hopkins - low reach
UCLA - low reach
UPenn - low/mid reach, legacy helps
Cornell ED - low reach
USC - high match
Northwestern - low reach
UMD - definitely in, especially since you interned there
Carnegie Mellon - match
Claremont McKenna - not familiar
Emory - match

We have many of the same stats, so this works out pretty well. You GPA is not the greatest, but since you go to a tough school, that will make up for it. Also, you scores are not AMAZING, but they are very solid. And the rest seems great. :)
