What if I completely skimmed over the question and wrote extensively about a wrong time period (500 yrs apart)?

If my facts were fine, then...?

What if I completely skimmed over the question and wrote extensively about a wrong time period (500 yrs apart)?

If my facts were fine, then...?

you still didnt answer the question...so 0

So how would the graders treat it?

Like GinPA said. 0.

It would be fine if you tied in info from another time period...but if that is all you wrote then you didn't answer the question.

They don't give 1 pt for having a thesis?

What if some of the points were applicable although attributed to the wrong time period?

Should rephrase:

I had some continuities (it was for a CoT question) that were correct, but the changes were wrong.

i think it would be a 0
i think the "thesis" point is relevant only if you have the right thesis

It was Change Over Time;

What if I had some continuities that were correct, but most of the changes were wrong?

But if you are completely off the time period like your OP said, then it's a 0

ooo, the essays were bad... I did a self-study for world so im not sure how it turned out, cramed last night like crazy. Anyone know how much you gotta get for a 5.

Well, if it's CONTINUITIES, don't I get a few points few there?

I think I wrote that certain things continued throughout, even to this day in some cases. These things definitely stayed the same.

It's not like I wrote about British colonialism when I was supposed to write about the Aryans.

ponnan--

50/70 on MC, 6/9 average on FR for a 5.

let's leave it to the graders lol
i see your argument but only if the continuities covered that time period it asked for

I left like 7 blank on MC.... hope it doesnt kill me

i left 9 or 10 blank on MC

and i think i did a 9 on the db1 essay and 4s on the other ones. jeez. does anyone have the calculations for what ur score gets u?

What time period did you screw up...what empire did you choose?
I can tell you how close you were...if you tell me what you really wrote about, and what you were Supposed to write about.

That score would be a 37/60, and for the 2002 exam, you need a 78, so you should hope for about 47 or 48 questions right on the MC.

i talked about the qin and han dynasties in change over time...problem is the qin wasnt part of the time period they gave but the han was....what about that

I don't think that you wouldn't get credit at all, would it? If so, then I'm screwed too, because I did basically the same thing w/(insert topic choice) -.- but, it was only about 2 sentences that were out of time period (I don't mean connections to present time; I mean I talked about 2 things that didn't even happen during the roman empire lol), the rest was in the time period... so I'm not TOO worried... eh.. I don't know "^^

edit: =P Sorry.. I think I was being a bit too specific w/my topic stuff
