Entry level writing... have not passed.

I have not satisfied the entry level writing req. I'm waiting for my ap english test scores... hoping to get a 3. I got lazy on the AWPE and did not pass, and I can't register for asian american studies.

So i'm kind of stuck here, either take college writing R1A, wait to take asian american studies which might fill up, or take it another semester?

My CalSo counselor told me the writing helps for all classes so I don't know.

I'm a pre-haas so going to major in business. If not, probably econ.

I'm not really exactly sure what to take my first semester for prereqs. I was told not to take Econ freshmen year, so i'm not going to. How about UGBA and Math 16A?

Are there any good and easy alternatives for a R&C 1A class?

You definitely don’t want to take Econ 1 or UGBA 10 during your first semester, but Math 16A is fine.

What other prereq should I take for my first semester?

How did you find out if you passed the AWPE or not?

You find out via a snail mail letter that they send you. I just got mine today.

It basically only tells you if you passed or not, no scores or anything.

^Damn, well then I guess I’m waiting on it, but hopefully I get it before my CalSO lol

When you try to register for a class that requires you pass the entry level writing exam, it won’t let you… or it won’t let me anyway.
