I am currently a environmetal science major with 90 credit hours. I am thinking about tranfer college and change my major to Economics or Accounting best job outlook. I can’t change my major at my current college because my GPA is a little low (C average), because I work full-time and attend college. My question is should I graduate with a environmental science major and than get my MBA in economics or Accounting? Or just tranfer college?
Are you at a four-year college? I think transferring anywhere will be very difficult with such a low GPA, and you probably should remain at your current college. Can you take some Economics or Accounting classes?
If money isn’t an issue for you, then you might not care about losing a lot of credits in order to start over, but - if that is the case - why are you so worried about your earnings potential? I cannot imagine any scenario in which you would be able to move into a more prestigious college, and receive any advantage from transferring.
I’m presuming that you are an international student. You obviously struggle with English, and you might benefit more from working to improve your everyday communication skills, if you hope to remain in the United States.
Good luck!
