<p>"Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is designed for students with exceptional academic ability and promise despite a low-income or educationally disadvantaged background."</p>
<p>How exactly does EOP help students? I've read that those who qualify for EOP do not necessarily qualify for financial aid and vice versa. The concern I have is that I explained my "academic ability despite... disadvantaged background," but I also talked about how EOP can help me afford college in the additional comments section. Is that the right approach? How else does EOP help students besides increasing their chances of getting financial aid?</p>
