Well, I would appreciate some input on my current dilemma. I will be brief.
I have to choose between these summer programs, your input on either would be great in respect to college admissions, etc.

EPGY at Stanford studying Non-Euclidean Geometry. I don't really know if I want to do it, what it entails, or if it will be valuable to a probably physics/astronomy major. (Keep in mind I'm from Ohio). Oh yeah $6,400 plus plane tickets, souvenirs, etc.

Boys State. Essentially a leadership/mock government thing for a week. I have heard this is a very good program to be involved in. And it is free.

Boys State… Depends on what you’re doing though. If your a bio geek and outta no where just do a government related course… well, you know.

Though I’d (with my interests and plans) do Boys State, if EPGY supplements what you have already, than go with that. If it’s worth 6400 bucks plus tickets (u can drive) and souvenirs (or a store bag that says CA on it)

That is the thing. I am essentially a physics geek. But I read that EPGY is essentially worthless. I would rather do Boys State for the fact that it would allow more time to build my telescope, study for the ACT, self study AP Physics B, etc.

For what it’s worth, the geometry class at EPGY usually shares a dorm with quantum mechanics. So you’d get some incidental exposure to physics there. Also, the study of non-euclidean geometry is essential to physics, since the geometry of space-time is not euclidean.
