I missed my AP European History test last friday because I was sick, however, it wasn't bad enough for me to go to the doctor. My counselor said that I may not be able to take the test now..but she says not to worry for now.

Your opinion, please? She did tell all of us taking APs that we shouldn't come if we were sick.. and I was feeling pretty badly the day before the test and the morning of. I'm getting kind of nervous now.. and I sort of regret not just showing up and getting a 2 or 3 or whatever I would've gotten, taking the test in the condition I was in. Does anyone have any experience with this? I want to know if it's likely that I will not be offered a retake..

I believe you can retake the test at a later date. Check with your coordinator. A make-up is very possible (another student during my AP US History administration had his BP go through the roof and had to be taken out; he is retaking the test). There should be a list of retake dates on CB.

The retakes are in late May, I believe. Talk to your counselors or administrators in charge of the AP testing. It'll be a different test, of course. But at least it's not on some peasant revolution that lasted a year...lol

My coordinator is my counselor, I think. It's just that I didn't even show up to the test and she made it seem like she would really need to duke it out for my test because I hadn't officially, on-record, had anything serious.

EDIT*: And she said my retake would be next wednesday..assuming I get one.

there's really no other way but to sign up for the make-up test (if you still can)
i believe your coordinator/counselor is the only one who can make these arrangements for you, because i don't think you can sign up personally through cb.
talk to your counselor/coordinator tmr.

She said she's going to do it for me today, it's just that she seemed like it was a little dubious on the chance that I would get a test..I want someone to tell me the truth here. :| are my chances good?

the only way to know if your chance is good is to clarify w/ her again tomorrow.
also, check the cb website. there might be stuff there that tells you want happens if you're sick/absent/etc. on the day of the test.
