Essay about roller coasters

Hi all!

I'm beginning to write my college essay and I've heard that you should write your essay about something that makes you unique. I think something that makes me unique is that my dad and I have traveled through the country and Canada together for the past six years riding every roller coaster we can. We've been on over 300 different ones. While this is a major aspect of my life, I'm not sure how I can write about it in a meaningful or life-changing way. It's not like riding roller coasters has changed my outlook on life or anything, it's just something I so enjoy!

How can I write about this for my essay and still have a focused point of it? Thanks!

Maybe you can use a story about you riding your 300th roller coaster with your dad as the essay intro/hook, then tie in how your life has been like a roller coaster or something, or how you really enjoy trying new things or taking risks, or how you love bonding with your dad.
Just my two cents! I’m a senior, so someone more qualified might have better answers. Good Luck! :)
