<p>Hi, I applied last year to college in the States but was unsuccesful. This year I am aiming lower and improving some things about my application, like my essay for instance. Can somebody read it who has some knowledge of what the admissions offices are looking for in a student?</p>

<p>I am applying to:
Gettysburg College
Dickinson College
F & M College
Depauw University
St. Lawrence University</p>

<p>My SAT is 2000 and unweighted GPA ~3.9 just so you have some info on my application.</p>

<p>Would love to have it rated from 1-10 or something like that as well :)</p>
