Should Essay C only be used for necessary information regarding special circumstances (i.e why one semester had low grades, etc.) or can it be used to expand on an experience?

I should add that I'm only in the top 11% but am looking for any opportunity to increase my chances for admission. Would completing Essay C annoy an admissions rep if I didn't have anything necessary to say?

You can send in an expanded resume separately, so it wouldn’t make sense to put that in For Essay C.

Right, and I do plan to send in an expanded resume, but the template for doing so doesn’t involve writing about the experience.

For example, I’m editor-in-chief of my newspaper. My essay would be about how being on the paper and having to do interviews, etc. has improved my ability to act favorably in uncomfortable social situations.

Oh! Hmmm I think you could do that. It does say anything you want them to know. :)
