Essay explaining grade drop. Feedback appreciated.

I just finished my UC open statement (210 words) "explaining" my enormous GPA drop.

Would anyone like to read it and give me constructive criticism, help on my grammar, or suggestions and revisions on what I currently have. Any kind of criticism is much welcomed.

Thanks.

i will try

Why would you do that for schools that are quantative to the max? Where do you have left to tell them what's positive about you?

You should reserve your essay for a personal statement, not to explain a grade drop.

No... there are 3 parts of the personal statement. A two 200 word parts, and a 600 word part. The third question asked to explain anything i would like to, which I did... The "dean" here on CC highly suggested I do so anyways.

This is just a VERY small part of my whole personal statement, so it's not like I'm spending my whole essay on an explanation of a grade drop. The rest of my essay focuses a lot elsewhere.

anyone willing to take a look?

You can PM it to me.

I'll read it.

Anyone else??

I'll bite, I'm curious to see your explanation.

Anyone else?

I will read it as well. I have to write my UC essay soon too.

Any1 else?

I'll read it... PM me.

PM it to me

ill read it for you

I'll read it.

Sent. Anyone else?

I'll take a look, PM me.

my advise is NOT to send anything explaining your grade drop
First off, the mark dept and the people who read essays arent the same. Secondly, if you show no personality, thats bad too
