So I am applying to a couple UCs as a transfer student. Of course, they ask the personal insight question about how you have prepared for your intended major. However, depending on the school, my major is slightly different. For example I am applying Econ at UCLA but Political Econ for UC Berkeley. I am worried that my answer to the question can’t hit both major exactly on the head. Anyone have any advice? Thanks!!!
Political economics is a subsection of economics. I’d say write one that speaks to economics with a hat tilt to its political implications. Admissions reps will read this, not economists. Or political economists.
