Essay on farming?

I'm in the stages of the pre-write of my essay for college, and I would like some feedback on what to write. I live on a large farm, and work on it most of the year. Where i live, is about as rural as it gets in America. :) (hoping this helps me in admissions)

Anyways, I need help deciding on an essay topic that will really highlight my life on the farm without sounding like a hick. :)

Here are some topics I have considered:

What Farming Has Taught Me-
Work Ethic and how that will carry on into studies and life-

I also live in an area with about 55% Mexican.

So to continue the list-

Farming and being a Minority-
Watching workers with no education work for $5 and hour and how it motivates me to excel-

These are all that I have at this current time. Any other ideas from the people here at CC, would be great! Thanks

The best topic for you is the one that allows you to be the most personal, detailed, honest and revealing.
