It’s kind of hard without actually knowing you.
But what are the family stories you laugh about? The stories that get repeated year after year when all the cousins get together, or when the family is reminiscing on Christmas night? I could name half a dozen from each of my siblings, and more for each of my kids.
THOSE are the kinds of ideas that will make your essay unique, because the experiences are uniquely yours.
When was the last time you were really scared?
When did you first start thinking of yourself as an adult?
What would your kindergarten teacher be surprised to learn about you? What wouldn’t surprise her?
