What do you think Penn is looking for with the "Resume" option in the writing section? Just details that weren't in the extracurricular list? Awards? Story of my life from age 1? What?
Don't tell me to email them, I'm not going to waste any more of my time. I'll elaborate below.

Also, as a transfer applicant, my only commonapp essay is "why do you want to leave your school, and what do you hope to achieve?" The Penn specific question is basically the same thing as the second half of my commonapp essay, except with more details about Penn in particular. Add in the fact that there aren't interviews for transfers and the EC essay was removed, and I'm basically just left saying what I don't like about my school and what I like about Penn. There barely seems to be room for me to tell the admissions committee anything more about myself than what is in the EC list. Should I just try to connect everything I like about Penn with a personal anecdote? I certainly don't have room to stray far from the prompt.

I know the second question is fairly complicated, and doesn't necessarily have a great answer. I wasn't expecting Penn to change anything when I emailed them (though that would be awesome), but I was hoping them that someone in the office could give me an idea of what they would expect for transfer students to talk about. Instead, I got this garbage:
"We hope the links below will help to answer your questions. Best of luck in your college application process! Click on the links below to access the information you are looking for:
Introduce Yourself to Penn
Admissions Home Page
Applying to Penn
Visiting Penn
Paying for Penn - Financial Aid Information
Transfer Applications"... And no other reply since. Oh, and the last, simpler question I asked about Penn's SAT policies (which wasn't explained on the site) is still unanswered after 3 weeks. I'm getting really frustrated with this, so I'll probably drop in and speak to someone in Penn's admissions office next time I'm in philly. If anyone wants, I can ask them the questions you have as well, and I'll post the answers. In the meantime, I'd like to get started on my essay, so does anyone have ideas about this?
