<p>i have a question, If you are a freshman applicant, do you choose between the common application essay or the two Johns Hopkins essays? Or do we have to do both a common application essay and the two johns hopkins essays? </p>

<p>And if we do choose the common appication essay, is only one required? and what is the word limit for common applications? </p>

<p>Also where do we find the 6 common applications essay questions?
and lastly, what is the word limit for the 2 johns hopkins essays?</p>

<p>you only have to do the common app essay but it is strongly recommended (aka required) that you do the jhu essays
u dont really need common app questions since the last choice is topic of your choice
no limit for the jhu essays but i remember someone saying that the "money for a day.." essay to be about 500-700 words and the favorite class to be about 250 words</p>

<p>I think I heard somewhere that the 1st JHU essay was 500~1000 words, and the 2nd should be 250~500. The 6 common application essays are on the common application site. Just type in common app on a search engine.</p>
