i have a question, If you are a freshman applicant, do you choose between the common application essay or the two Johns Hopkins essays? Or do we have to do both a common application essay and the two johns hopkins essays?

And if we do choose the common appication essay, is only one required? and what is the word limit for common applications?

Also where do we find the 6 common applications essay questions?
and lastly, what is the word limit for the 2 johns hopkins essays?

you only have to do the common app essay but it is strongly recommended (aka required) that you do the jhu essays
u dont really need common app questions since the last choice is topic of your choice
no limit for the jhu essays but i remember someone saying that the "money for a day.." essay to be about 500-700 words and the favorite class to be about 250 words

I think I heard somewhere that the 1st JHU essay was 500~1000 words, and the 2nd should be 250~500. The 6 common application essays are on the common application site. Just type in common app on a search engine.

do the jhu essay, it's much easier.
