I wrote an essay for college using some sexual metaphor. Could anyone possibly give it a quick read (its only 200 words) and tell me if its too much or if it works? I have gotten some advice not to use it, but I just want to confirm. Thank you!

I can’t imagine that ANY is appropriate in a college essay.
Rule of thumb - if you have to ask if it’s inappropriate then don’t use it.
You never know who is going to read your essay. It may be laid back Joe Cool (+++). Or it may be Mrs. Grundy (- - -).
