<p>Using specific details in your examples makes your essay much more effective. </p>
<p>If your example paragraphs are detailed, you have a solid 4-5 paragraph structure, drop a couple of vocabulary words, and write at a decent level, you will definitely score 10+.</p>

<p>A good introduction and conclusion make a big difference. You want to impress your reader right away, and the last think you say is likely what’s most on their mind as they assign you a grade. I devoted a bit more than half of the first page to my introduction and a good chunk of the second page to my conclusion and got a 12.</p>
