<p>I was wondering if people could name some of the better or more prestigious awards/contests, preferably being in the essay format, though I'm curious to know what's out there.</p>
<p>It's always more difficult to write really good stuff ON TOP of everything else during the school year, so I thought it would be nice to begin during the summer. However, I don't really know what I could be writing for...and I know that sometimes there's even $$$$ involved, which would make doing well even sweeter. Anyway, what are some of the prestigious/big/common/best contests out there? Or, if that goes unanswered, what are some of the ones that you all have applied to?</p>
