I am currently in progress of writing the essay for Peabody Institute. The prompt asks us to write about a memorable music experience. How long should it be? Should I concentrate on elaborating on the actual experience and have a lil bit of narrative? Seems like I'm mainly talking about what I've gained... Any advices?

Wouldn't talk much about accomplishments as that's what the resume is for. Focus your essay on an experience, like the event(s) that caused your realization that you wanted a career in music.

It needn't be long. One page is more than sufficient.
