What are some essential items of clothing for UW students?
Essential dorm room items?
Also, do students get a lot of their UW apparel free/discounted?
Right now after being accepted, I want to buy just about everything Wisconsin! :)</p>
<p>The only students I am aware of who get free UW clothing are the signed athletes.</p>
<p>If you are able to purchase season football tickets, and possibly basketball and hockey too, you get a free tee shirt when you pick up the tickets. There is also a slightly tacky free tee shirt that you can pick up at the bookstore during SOAR. Those are the only free items of clothing my daughter, a sophomore, has received so far. Essential items of clothing would be: a red shirt to wear to games and a warm winter coat.</p>
<p>Wait until next summer for this. That is when all of the stores have sales and availability, CC will have lists and so will other sources. I understand you are excited but patience is required. UW logo gear is commonly available in many Wisconsin stores all over the state.</p>
