<p>I totally still don't get / think its a pun but that's fine. It's her name so that why I'm thinking I don't find it "punny" ;)</p>

<p>yah so i feel pretty lame, i filled out the app online, my teachers did their recs, my counselor did hers, i just wrote some essays, nothing special. didn't send in anything extra. i basically did what was required and thats it. but hey it worked, so i'm not complaining</p>

<p>who of u liked Faulkner's As I lay Dying? it was real good stuff actually...</p>

<p>It was so great. Took me a while and multiple re-reads of the same sections, but stilll.....awesome.</p>

<p>I hated As I Lay Dying, interior monologue = not cool at all</p>

<p>I know this is a little old...but i thought i add that Heart of Darkness was the worst and most boring novella that I have ever had the misfortune of reading.</p>

<p>Had I not fallen in love with Apocalypse Now first, I might have agreed, but the allusions between the two, and the inherant beauty in both, made it an absolutely amazing book.</p>

<p>My favorite book was The Five People You Meet in Heaven...and I didn't feel like pelting it at my wall.</p>

<p>How could you not love Heart of Darkness with quotes like "your strength is just the accidental result of another's man weakness"?

I mean the book is saturated with deep s***.</p>

<p>My favorite is "The conquest of the earth, which mostly means the taking it away from those who have a different complexion or slightly flatter noses than ourselves, is not a pretty thing when you look into it too much."</p>
