ETS mad a huge mistake on the october SAT II BIO curve

It was reported that the SAT II biology curve was mistakingly made WAY to generous- giving a record number of students 800's. Although they won't redo the grading, colleges may look at this WAY differently. Do you guys have any more news on this.... this is all that I know.

where'd u hear this from? could u provide a source or link?

umm that's bs. look back at the june 2004 biology thread. same test. same results. the test was difficult, hence sweet curve.

I was just kidding about this.... but it does seem really really fishy to me. I got an 800, and all of my friends got 800's and we all got around 710 for all of our other SAT II's. One of my friends who hadn't even taken bio thought he could do well. We all laughed until we found out that he got a 690. Something is up. what do you think the curve was.

my bio score dropped 70 points from june to december; I think that the test prolly just covered more common concepts in class; in my class, we never got too far past molecular stuff, so i had to learn most of it myself; i dunno if i should retake it or not...considering i wanna major in biology...

What it is, I'm happy with my score lol.

wait so will colleges look at bio differently or not? your freaking me out
