Eureka! Why didn't I "discover" these products sooner?!

Wow, thank you for sharing! I have a friend with thinning hair and would certainly let her know.

I ordered the egg thingy several weeks ago, because I needed to make deviled eggs for Thanksgiving and thought it would be useful. Of course it was back-ordered and didn’t arrive in time, but after a long wait, it finally showed up.

Guess what - it’s too high to fit in my microwave! So disappointed.

Oh! The microwave is eggzactly the wrong height?

Just used mine - I’ve been splurging on the $5.59/dozen organic-pasture-raised brown eggs. So delicious softboiled, warm on toast with drippy yolks! Tastes like childhood.

My microwave is a built-in under the counter drawer kind. I actually have another microwave from before we moved in a closet. I am considering getting it out of the closet so I can use my egg thingy.

What are the watts for the closet microwave?

I don’t know - need to move several things to get to it. It’s less than 2 years old, and is mid-sized. I got it at Sears. The drawer microwave is 950 watts.

After a break, used mine today, too. No problems.

Heloise recently stated:

**"You can safely use a bag made to “steam” food in the microwave.

I tested (several times) two medium eggs, on high, for about 1:30, and they came out perfect! Why waste 13 minutes boiling water when 1½ minutes in the microwave does it?"**

The “bag” she was referring to was one that is safe to use in a microwave. Anyone try this method?

I have found the holy grail…that which I was convinced via years of trial, error and frustration…did not exist. It is more rare than a pink unicorn and more difficult to capture than the angels on a head of a pin…it is…the comfortable bra! Yes, I actually found one which I wore for the better part of a day and completely forgot about. It’s the Bali comfort revolution foam wire free bra…sold at Costco.

Who knows, maybe I’ll wear a bra on occasions other than formal night out.

oh boy, oh boy. I want to try one. But I hesitate over “foam cups”. I don’t need any extra padding. Is it a very, very thin foam? (please, God)

Another very comfortable bra is the “this is not a bra” by Warner’s. It is not padded, but the underwire is padded a bit so it doesn’t bite you and the strap adjusters are on the front.

No, no - THIS is the most comfortable bra! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N5540QW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00

Actually, to me, the most comfortable is the one(s) which fit best for YOUR body. Since we are all different, this may vary a lot. For me, the most comfortable ones all have underwire and a tiny bit of foam for modesty (to avoid headlights). With patience, I have acquired quite a few that are nice and comfortable at Ross and Nordstrom’s Rack and Macy’s (on sale).

I got one of the Nordic Ware eggy thingies. Nope. Very disappointed.
Will try again tomorrow.

Explain your issues with it, include how many eggs, wattage of microwave, how long you microwaved it for, how many minutes you left it in the microwave after it turned off, how long in cold water before peeling, and attempted consistency of egg.

@HImom, I don’t mean to be rude, but of course there is no ONE bra for everyone. My post was tongue in cheek regarding what I thought was the best bra, but so far, right now, it’s the best one for me.

BTW, upthread many of us were sold on the window cleaner wipes. I just used mine again today to shine up my flattop stove and want to thank whoever mentioned it. Those things work SO well!

^ Beats me why some have trouble. Maybe it’s the water.

But I do microwave 8.5 minutes, cold eggs. I’ll check but think it’s a 1000 watt. Last time, I let them sit a good while, was doing something else. Perfect.

It’s not the only way to HB, but convenient. Nothing to watch. I make sure the top is firmly on (based on some Amazon reviews.)

I am making SB in a 1300 watt, 2 at a time. I do 5.25 minutes, let stand inside without opening door after for 2 minutes, in cold water for .5 minutes, peel, on buttered toast with Lawry’s.

I can follow the directions for soft-boiled eggs: 5 minutes + 2 wait time. However, I’ve had to work the hard-boiled egg time. I buy extra-large eggs which probably skewed the results and my first (and a few thereafter) weren’t great. I’ve worked it to cook time 8 minutes + 5 wait time. Once you figure out what works for you, no problem - I use my egg thingy almost every day now.
