Eureka! Why didn't I "discover" these products sooner?!

Where have these been all my life??? Someone needs to order them and report back to us all!

@walkinghome, sorry, just for me, the most comfortable bra seems to change over time. What was so comfortable at one time becomes very uncomfortable later.

“the most comfortable bra seems to change over time”

My boobs sure have changed over time.

Explain your issues with it, include how many eggs, wattage of microwave, how long you microwaved it for, how many minutes you left it in the microwave after it turned off, how long in cold water before peeling, and attempted consistency of egg.>>>>>>

Three eggs, 1200 watts, 5 min. (for soft boiled), 2 min sit time, peeled under running cold water, very difficult to peel.
One egg was perfect, one was extremely runny and one was too done. My MW has a carousel so it’s not that.

Now, the first time, I did two eggs and reduced the time to 4.5 min to account for the wattage and that was a mistake. totally runny, not done.

Oh well, it’s handy anyway, I’ll keep using it. It is just not all it has been “cracked” up to be. ha, ha.

Ok going to enter into the egg parade…I bought an electric pressure cooker this year. The instant pot…I am in love with this product…hubby says addicted! It makes hard boiled eggs that are super easy to peel and dippy eggs that melt in your mouth! Oh it makes other things also LOL

I’d think, if three eggs produced three different results on a carousel, it’s the eggs.

Hmmm - maybe try 2 eggs instead of 3, and put in cold water for 30 seconds and then peel?

It took me a few tries with my 1300 watt to find the right method.

I also try to use 2 eggs that are the same size. If I have 2 that are larger than most, I add a little more time.

When I do 2 at a time, I put them opposite instead of next to each other in the thingy.

I can’t remember if the Smartwool socks were mentioned here, but if so, is there a specific type you would recommend? I’m thinking of getting them for a man and woman, avid Colorado hikers.

ekSel Toaster Bags are my new find. Amazon They are made to make grilled cheese in your toaster. I haven’t tried that yet but re-heating a slice of pizza real quick is great without having to fire up the oven. It stays crispy crust.
Get three, re-usable (made of some sort of teflon type material.

Jokari Hands-Free Baggy Holder is great too. It’s an extra set of hands to hold baggies open while you fill them.

It’s going to be a Baby Foot day!

Still talking about eggs!?!?!?

Not a product but an app. Wondermall. Hundreds of stores in one place, plus discount coupons.

I also just ordered an attachment thingy to clean the bottom of my dryer under the lint trap. Was only $10. I’ll review after I get it.

Further proof of how great that gadget is. Have been using mine for over 5 years and am still amazed how perfect my eggs are each time I use it.

Are there any recommendations for fat skimming devices? Have been bone brothing and braising a lot and have been just using a regular ladle to skim the top layer of fat. Am wondering if there is a more efficient/effective way of doing it besides cooling it in the refrigerator for hours (which is effective, but not so efficient). Thanks for any suggestions.

Love my toaster oven! As new empty-nesters we use it a lot. Also, it looks good and cleans up well.

We re-did our kitchen years ago with the Wolf and Miele ovens, which are great, but the toaster oven gets the biggest workout now. I plan on getting one for each of my college-age children.

Love my Breville. I didn’t get the convection one as my oven has that feature and I never use it.

Lol about the eggs. I used it the other day and left the shells on 2 of them that I took to work yesterday. Peeling was messy yesterday, so I don’t recommend this

@jym626, wonder why people are having such mixed results. I’ve never had a problem with messy peeling. Do you let the eggs come to room temperature before refrigerating them? Sorry it didn’t work out for you.

What is the attachment thingy to clean the residual lint out of the place that the screen slides into?!

WalterDrake Dryer Vac Attachment with Bonus Brush. I ordered it from Walmart.

I agree that something sounds odd.

Was the carousel turning? Sometimes the glass tray can be off the center thingy and won’t turn.

Were the eggs the same size? from the same box?

Or maybe the eggs are touching. I think I usually get large or extra large (not jumbo) and noticed a couple wanted to touch when I first set them in. I had to do a little adapting, turn some.

I had to take an appetizer to something the other day and didn’t feel like going to the store for ingredients. Made two batches for deviled eggs and have to say, it was so easy. I had other things to do and didn’t have to watch a pot or time anything. I put them in cold, then they sat a while before peeling. No problems.

Jym, were yours cold at work or room temp, when you tried to peel?
