I’ve scheduled my classes for next year when I will be a senior and am wondering if anyone has any advice regarding difficulty, coursework, AP exams, etc. I’m also wondering if you think any of my AP courses would prepare me for the corresponding SAT Subject tests (ex. AP Spanish||Spanish SAT2) enough so that I wouldn’t have to study a tremendous amount. Thanks!
AP English
AP Spanish
AP Calc BC
AP Statistics
Honors Management
Honors Model UN
Ceramics
Other than AP Calc BC and possibly even AP English, you should do fine in those classes. It all depends on what you’re interested in, and what you want to major in, though.
You need to take the SAT 2 tests before you have gotten much into these classes.
What are you thinking of majoring in?
If STEM,
I would drop AP Stats and replace it with an AP science.
If Humanities, I would make sure you have taken AP USH and AP ES.
Have you finished all your requirements for social studies to graduate?
Consider AP Pysch as well over honors management.
You need at least one honors class in the social sciences or sciences, and if you’re aiming for a top 50 university / LAC you probably need both or doubling up in one.
I’d drop AP stats to take that missing core class.
@Alllviiinnn You post history suggests that you just graduated 8th grade. From what experience are you recommending a senior student on their schedule?
