Evaluation of ACT scores?

I was wondering if anyone could comment on how UF evaluates the submitted ACT students of its applicants.

I have read that that the scores from just one sitting will be considered (i.e., no superscore) but am curious as to whether it is the composite score or scores of individual components (e.g. just Math/English) that is more important.

Thanks in advance for any input you might have...

The highest composite score is used for evaluation. At other schools, where you apply to your college as a freshman, they will often evaluate results from the sub-scores (English, Math, etc.). However, at UF they don’t take into account which college you are applying to, so I don’t think they put much weight behind sub-scores.
