Even without ACT score choice...

...if you take two sittings of it, with strengths in different areas, will colleges somewhat make their own superscore out of your two scores?
For instance, (these are just arbitrary examples)

First Sitting:
E 31
M 35
R 32
S 34
Composite: 33

Second sitting:
E 34
M 33
R 34
S 32
Composite: 33

Even though the two composite scores are identical, if both score sets are submitted will they look at you as higher than a 33?

They would take the highest scores making it:

E: 34
M: 35
R: 34
S: 34

Most colleges do not superscore ACT but instead rely on that one test with the highest composite so what is stated above is true only for a fairly small minority of colleges. Since yours are the same send both and let them choose which to rely on.
