WTH?! Thats crazy...I got 3's on AP Bio, AP Calc AB(though explained a legitimate reason), AP English, and AP Euro....I got 4's on AP Physics and AP Stats...but I got a 2240 SAT and 790 Math lv 2 and 730 Physics. I'm not sure if I'm stupid...
Crap..I'm going to get rejected...

…They have the Essay portion of the application for a reason, you know

Every SCEA admit got all fives on AP tests? That sounds false. I wasn’t technically an SCEA admit, but I certainly didn’t have all fives (though I did have all fours and fives).

^Well, at least that looks good…I look terrible with all the 3s…i want to blame my teachers (I honestly wish they were better). But I know its not right to do that…I’m so screwed.

The essay portion is subjective though…

It is pretty well know that Stanford cares the least about stats out of all of the elite schools, so unless they completely revamped their admissions policy I find this preposterous. Also, many athletes, who tend to have slightly lower stats, get accepted early. Did you get this from asian75?

to ease your pain: i had a 5 a 4 and a 2 and was accepted SCEA

Xargon42, did you note the 2 on your application?

yeah my question is also like silverturtle’s. i have all kinds of scores, some 5’s, some 3’s, and even a couple of 1’s. should you still report scores that aren’t that great? i heard that it demonstrates that you at least put forth the effort into taking the test in the first place but the reality is that a 5 is much better looking than a 1. i’m just wondering if a low score can hurt your chances. any thoughts on this?

First off, AP Scores aren’t used in the admissions process, and second off, I’m sick and tired of people like Handala92.

While his generalization is quite crude and presumptuous, I hope you’re not one of those who believe AA has no impact.

I didnt report the two, but I sent them the official score report, back when I first took the test, so they knew it

Seriously? I have to pay 80 dollars for every AP test (and I didn’t want to skip the intro courses in college) and I was not willing to do that, so now I’m gonna get docked in the admissions process? Well, that sure is lovely.
