Everybody in the club get Tips!

Is drinking really fun? I have never drank, but i kinda have wanted to (only had like a glass of champaign)

Do a lot of people do it in college?

How many people get caught? (what happens to them?)

How bad are the hangovers?

Where the hell do you freaking get the alcohol anyway? Many students are younger than 21.

Anything else about drinking you wanna tell me?

Don't drink, wouldn't know... Interesting thread, I'll keep an eye on it :)

Haha this is funny. Not that I advocate drinking or doing anything illegal, but I will attempt to answer your questions.

Actually drinking in itself is not really that fun. It's the whole social atmosphere and stupid stuff people do when drinking is taking place.

Yes, a lot of people do it in college.

Most people don't get "caught" per se. The parties just get broken up and people scatter. Very rarely do people get arrested or anything because it would cost too much money for all of the manpower needed.

Hangovers...depends on how much you drink.

Almost half of the people in college are 21. That's where the alcohol comes from.

Anything else about drinking you wanna tell me? Yes, never drink beer. It's cheap and disgusting. Go for the good stuff.

Grey Goose. Drink that. Beer if and only if its Guinness.

who are you trying to impress with your Grey Goose. Absolut and Stoli is great too. Smirnoff is fine too when you mix it.

Ah, Guinness, a meal in a bottle. Actually, it's kind of nasty unless you've already had a bunch to drink, unless of course you're Irish. They drink that crap like its milk.

Mmmm, Guinness. The only beer I'll drink.

Grey Goose is alright, but I'm more of a gin man. Gotta go with Bombay Sapphire there. I love whiskey. Cognac is real nice, but far too pricey to get drunk on at $12 a glass (though I order it on special occasions).

Wine is the best alcohol though.

Mahras, u got it down man. Grey Goose is amazing...i hate beer tho. Ultimat is the best vodka around...expensive as all get out, but sooo smooth. Also, scotch is pretty good.

Never been drunk and only casually drink with my family. I love red wines (chianti specifically).

I don't drink...but every single weekend there is usually a party here (I'm in highschool) and people get soooo drunk! A lot of the people get alcohol from their relatives or friends who are 21 or over. It's actually kind of amusing when you see your friends at school on Monday after seeing them passed out on the ground...they remember absolutely nothing!

guiness (extra cold) or ale

Yeah, it's fun. I hang out with all kinds of people that I would never talk to normally when I'm drunk. It gives you mad confidence.

I don't get hangovers, even this one time when I puked for half an hour, passed out in a bathtub and had to be carried a mile by some friends. Or so I'm told. I could barely talk the next day, but I still got plenty of homework done and don't regret it at all.

Lots of people do it in college.

No one really gets caught. I've been at plenty of parties that have been broken up, the cops just tell people to leave. Although this one time I was really messed up (drunk and very high) and so me and 2 other friends jumped out of a window and ran about 2 miles through an ice-covered field. We didn't get chased, the cops didn't really care, not like they could have caught 3 sub-5min milers anyways :). My parents don't really care, as long as I do as well as I do in school. Just no drunk driving, that's bad.

I have some friends in college that are over 21, this is a college town, and there's some lady at a convenience store who's 80 who will sell to anyone.

I don't have that many really good drunk stories to tell, there are a few more. I'm not going to advocate other illegal activities here, but they can be pretty fun too.

Moral of story: When drinking, try to know your limits. Don't drive drunk, really, it's dangerous as hell. All things are good in moderation (that aren't addictive). And the drinking until I passed out story was about learning my limits, not something you should try to do on your own.

As to the alcohol you want: I've always been a Jack Daniels man myself. Vodka can be pretty awesome too. Gin's some nasty stuff. As far as beer goes, I've got to say Corona.

Wow, I really don't want to do this AP US essay. That was a long post.

smirnoff ice or smirnoff green apple - tastes like fruit soda

meh I tried smirnoff once. Isnt it like obsenely full of fat? Cant remember.

Pffff, medio....don't be dissing the Grey Goose! The best vodka I ever drank was some Russian stuff my friend brought over from Russia. It was like Schmissochelo or something rather like that. That was some good stuff.

I drink in moderation. And yes I have never been ****ed drunk :).

i'm pretty sure alcoholic drinks aren't full of fat, mahras. but full of calories and such, of course!

yea sorry about that. Yes I meant calories.

ONLY drink Austrian or German beer - BY FAR the best and I have a lot of experience (maybe i shouldnt have said that, but o well), some Canadian stuff is ok took and the Belgians seem to make a fine beer every once in a while

I don't know how you guys can afford to discriminate. 30 Packs of Keystone Light for 12 bucks is more like what I'm used to. When I can afford to choose, I take Guinness.

Did you mean to say "tipsy"? Or did you mean to say "tips"?

lol anyway when I drink I don't drive that is one thing I don't do. And it sucks cuz none of my friends can drive so its hard for me to drink unless I'm at a coworkers party or one of my college friend's places, but if its a highschool thing, i can't drink.

my point was that everyone here speaks of their highly discriminating tastes, but we all know that you'll drink anything. When the only thing at the party is that keg of Bud, it starts looking REAL tasty.

Yeah, although I always prefer vodka, my friends and I usually end up with bartons, which is so cheap. We splurge on tequila every now and then, but often, it's just keystone or busch light.
