Yeah, it's fun. I hang out with all kinds of people that I would never talk to normally when I'm drunk. It gives you mad confidence.

I don't get hangovers, even this one time when I puked for half an hour, passed out in a bathtub and had to be carried a mile by some friends. Or so I'm told. I could barely talk the next day, but I still got plenty of homework done and don't regret it at all.

Lots of people do it in college.

No one really gets caught. I've been at plenty of parties that have been broken up, the cops just tell people to leave. Although this one time I was really messed up (drunk and very high) and so me and 2 other friends jumped out of a window and ran about 2 miles through an ice-covered field. We didn't get chased, the cops didn't really care, not like they could have caught 3 sub-5min milers anyways :). My parents don't really care, as long as I do as well as I do in school. Just no drunk driving, that's bad.

I have some friends in college that are over 21, this is a college town, and there's some lady at a convenience store who's 80 who will sell to anyone.

I don't have that many really good drunk stories to tell, there are a few more. I'm not going to advocate other illegal activities here, but they can be pretty fun too.

Moral of story: When drinking, try to know your limits. Don't drive drunk, really, it's dangerous as hell. All things are good in moderation (that aren't addictive). And the drinking until I passed out story was about learning my limits, not something you should try to do on your own.

As to the alcohol you want: I've always been a Jack Daniels man myself. Vodka can be pretty awesome too. Gin's some nasty stuff. As far as beer goes, I've got to say Corona.
