<p>Sigh. Just what the world needs... another Protestant denomination (there are currently over 30,000 worldwide, all believing different things about Jesus and Salvation). </p>

<p>I can tell you with very little doubt, Find<em>a</em>Way, that if someone or something is inspiring your father to start a new Protestant sect (a new denomination of Christianity), it is not Jesus. It is the Devil in disguise.</p>

<p>Nothing. The same serpent who tricked Eve into eating the apple is the same serpent who tricked Luther and Henry VIII into spearheading Protestantism... and the same serpent who is tricking Find<em>A</em>Way's father and many others, every day, into furthering the madness. </p>
<p>The Lord is omnipotent, but he gives all beings free will to do good or to do evil. This is a recognized truth of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. And this free will extends to angels, which is what Satan is: a fallen angel. Again, a recognized truth of all three monotheistic faiths.</p>

<p>I very rarely see "religion wars" on secular messageboards such as this (I would define a religion war as two or more parties of religious people duking it out). It's almost always just Atheists telling Christians how dumb they are.</p>
<p>I haven't seen a single thread or discussion like that anywhere here on CC.</p>

In the past 2 years, I've probably seen 10+ massive 30 pg threads with respect to christianity vs other religion vs no religion.</p>
<p>I've only been a member here for a few months. But I've only seen two threads so far discussing God or religion; neither of which compared religions. The only discussed one side.</p>
